DaMarcus, I also try not to lower my standards, and sometimes it makes me feel like I might be too hard on my students, but when they surprise me with meeting my expectations it makes it all worth it! I agree with you about passion. Why not be passionate about everything you do? If you're not passionate about something, why are you doing it?
